Brown's Wealth Management
About Alan Brown
Alan Brown entered financial services after a
successful career as a Logistics Officer in the
Royal Army Ordnance Corps. He graduated
from The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in
1979 and retired from military life as a Major in 1988.

Alan began his financial career as a consultant with a major bank in Newcastle upon Tyne. He then moved to Yorkshire as a consultant with a major international financial services company in 1991 and in May 1994
he was promoted to branch manager. A number of
awards followed to recognise his achievements in his
new branch.

In 1995 Alan decided to establish his own Practice, initially employing two financial Advisers and several administrative staff. The Practice grew successfully and in the Spring of 1999 Alan was delighted to receive an approach from the St. James’s Place Wealth Management Group (formerly the J. Rothschild Assurance Group). He consequently moved his Practice to the current location in the city of York.
