Mortgage Details

  • We will record and assess the client’s current mortgage position with regard to:-


    • (a) main residence
      (b) other properties

  • We will check the remaining term of each mortgage against the client’s proposed retirement age and consider/explain any implications of this.
  • We will check the structure of the mortgage (i.e. repayment, interest only, or a mixture) and if necessary re-shape this to suit the client’s needs and circumstances. We can discuss any associated investments and if they are on track and still appropriate.
  • We can check if all parties to the mortgage are properly protected, and review the mortgage product/interest rate to see if terms can be improved.
