INVESTMENT EVENING
30th March 2010 6pm onwards

In view of the only too recent recession and the fragile economic recovery, there are many investors who are concerned about the future.

We are therefore hosting an investment information evening in order to provide existing clients and potential clients with a clearer understanding as to why they invest in the first place. In addition we will reemphasise the St. James's Place distinctive approach to investment management which has provided us with accolades as best wealth manager by the Daily Telegraph and 2009 Wealth Manager of the year by the Investors Chronicle Financial Times.

The evening will provide a greater understanding about the principles of investment and will also give the opportunity for questions to be asked about future prospects.

We have invited Martyn Hurll who sits on our Investment Comittee as a guest speaker to give what should be an interesting and thought provoking talk.

Martyn has over 25 years experience in financial services and has worked in specialist roles for several major UK financial institutions including Standard Life and Friends Provident. He joined St. James's Place 9 years ago and is a Head of Investment Services in the Asset Management division. He has also majored in investments and specialises in investment tax planning strategies for high net worth clients.

His role within St. James's Place is varied but primarily he acts as an interface between our external fund managers, Partners and clients, spending time meeting and talking to the managers on a regular basis. He always works closely with trustees of pensions schemes, charities and endowment funds. As a member of the Investment Committee he is well placed to give clients an insight into the St. James's Place philosophy and approach to investment management.
