Established in September 1990, the City Group was formed when Adam and Nick began trading as a partnership as representatives of Norwich Union. In December 1993 the partners left Norwich Union and became Independent Financial Advisers. As a result of their success Adam and Nick were invited to join St. James's Place and made the transition to Wealth Management in November 2002. This allowed our clients to continue to receive high quality advice that has the backing of a FTSE 250 company. St. James's Place provides our clients with access to a carefully selected group of external fund managers of outstanding ability to look after their investments. These external fund managers are closely monitored by the Investment Committee and if confidence is lost, the fund manager is replaced at no cost and without any tax implications.
