Stuart started his career in financial services with Scottish Widows in 1988 as an Actuarial specialist for life & pensions. As a proven team leader, Stuart gained the advanced Financial Planning qualifications to become an Advisor in 1995. By 1997, Stuart took on the role of Financial Planning Consultant at Standard Life, quickly progressing to Senior Consultant with a large and complex client base. Accepting an
invitation to join the St. James's Place Partnership in 2001, Stuart is now delighted to provide bespoke financial advice to his private and corporate clients.
A specialist in private and corporate pensions, Stuart also advises his private clients on matters including investments, inheritance tax planning, long term care and whole of market mortgage sourcing.

David believes in giving a first class service to his clients and pays great attention to detail when dealing with all aspects of their financial affairs. Starting out in his profession in 1982, he has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience and is proud to be able to offer his clients professional advice on a wide range of investments, retirement and exit strategies, inheritance tax planning and mortgages.

Sarah Henderson MA (Hons)Practice Manager
Sarah Graduated from Edinburgh University in 2005 with an MA (Hons) in Business Studies and Accountancy. Sarah then spent 3 years working in the Retail sector specialising in Stock Control, Payroll and Cash Office Administration. She started with McLean and Melrose in September 2008 as an administration assistant, before becoming Practice Manager in March 2011. Sarah has spent her time with McLean and Melrose building relationships with existing clients and helping to deliver the high service standards McLean and Melrose Wealth Management Ltd clients have come to expect.
Mike GunnAdministration Assistant
Mike has worked in the financial services industry for 10 years. He gained experience from working for 2 large banking groups and prior to joining McLean and Melrose Wealth Management Ltd had spent 4 years with an independent financial advisor company providing excellent service to clients and fulfilling their financial needs. This experience, along with the completion of industry examinations allows Mike to deliver the high standard of service associated with McLean and Melrose Wealth Management Ltd.
Emma AndersonAdministration Assistant
Emma worked for Lloyds Banking Group for 4 and a half years. She started off in the Business Banking Contact Centre, dealing with clients over the phone and servicing their Business Accounts. She then accepted a promotion to work within the Financial Crime Team as a Case Manager, dealing with all aspects of 3rd party Fraud. Emma brings with her a great deal of awareness from her Financial Crime background and has a vigilant approach to all work she takes on. She also has high quality communication skills.
