I have spent over 22 years in personal financial planning. After graduating in Psychology in 1974 I spent 3 years in postgraduate research in Psychology and Law at the University of Reading. Having fulfilled my ambitions from an academic perspective, I then entered the world of business and built a successful furniture retail and wholesale distribution business. In the mid eighties I entered financial services as an Independent Financial Adviser before being invited to join the
St. James's Place Partnership in 1995 as a Partner. Drawing upon practical experience in business, combined with extensive academic training and a keen interest in law, has proved invaluable in my role as a financial adviser enabling me to draw on this experience when giving advice to clients.
I specialise in meeting the financial needs of people who have created significant capital, earn higher incomes than average, and whose circumstances are more complex than most.
My interests include tennis, cycling, game shooting, my cocker spaniel “Tinker”, and my wife Beverly’s home cooking. I am married with two daughters and have homes in rural North West Hampshire and the Spanish Costa Blanca.
