Graham Carver and Gareth Wigdahl are Advisers of York Wealth Management and Directors of York FM Limited.

Graham joined Barclays following a successful career with the Royal Navy. After 8 successful years with Barclays, as an adviser and manager Graham decided to start up his own business in 1999 as an independent financial adviser.

Gareth has been in financial services for 34 years having had a successful career as both an adviser and manager with Prudential. Gareth joined York Financial Management (York FM Ltd) as an Independent Financial Adviser in 2000 becoming a director of the same firm in 2001.

Graham and Gareth both joined the St. James's Place Partnership in September 2009 seeing this union as the natural progression from their previous appointments.

Graham and Gareth are committed to the concept of ongoing fund management monitoring and the
St. James's Place approach to investment management and see this as the main cornerstone to their business progressing over time. This monitoring of fund managers aims to achieve consistent long term performance through active management but does not seek to influence the investment policy of the fund managers.

Both directors have now obtained the diploma qualification to enhance the service and advice available to both current and new clients of York Wealth Management.
