I am married to Jenny and we have two young boys, Fraser and Finn, who are naturally a constant source of fun and pride. As well as family life I enjoy many sports, particularly mountain biking to keep fit and I compete on a very amateur basis.
Within my working life I have constantly strived to improve my professional qualifications and hold the Chartered Financial Planning Certificate in addition to the Investment Management Certificate which I achieved whilst employed as a Fund Manager with Cazenove Capital Management. Consequently I am fully qualified to offer financial planning to individuals, businesses and Trusts.
As well as holding the highest level of industry qualification, personal career highlights are of course launching our financial planning practice Warren House Chartered Financial Planners in 2011 with the sole ambition of getting closer to our clients financial and personal goals; something being part of larger organisation appears more and more difficult to attain. I have also been fortunate enough to be the recipient of some prestigious awards, most prominently:
As a keen sportsman and father to Charlie, I always seem to be busy and constantly moving from one activity to the next. Just the way I like it…
I am very proud of Warren House Chartered Financial Planners and the people we are lucky enough to work with. Each member of the team brings their own unique view on life and together we constantly strive to enhance the service we provide to our clients and improve everything that we do, no matter how small it may be.
I have worked in the industry since leaving university and during my time with RSM Tenon I was a Corporate Account Director specialising in managing Employee Benefits schemes whilst retaining a personal, face to face advice service with the companies and employees alike.
Prior to RSM Tenon I held various roles for Chancery Group Limited and MS Mortgage solutions Ltd including independent financial adviser, mortgage adviser and managing the research and IT functions of both companies.
Even after all these years I am still excited by the opportunity we have ahead and love hearing from a client that they have enjoyed working with us or that in some small way, we have had a positive impact on their lives.
I joined the industry in 1999 after completing my degree in Economics & Public Policy at Leeds Beckett University. I have had various client facing and research roles over the years that have allowed me to build up my skill set and technical knowledge. I am currently working towards Chartered Financial Planner status which I know will give our clients further reassurances in my ability to provide them with an all encompassing advice service.
I have been with Warren House Chartered Financial Planners since 2014 as a Paraplanner will already be familiar to some our existing clients. I have worked very closely with Doug and Mike for approximately 13 years to date and we are confident that we will be able to meet your financial planning needs with our combined expertise.
Outside of work, I am a sports fan and football in particular is my passion. I work out at the gym regularly as I find this to be a great way of switching off. In terms of family life I have a young daughter and naturally spending time with her is always rewarding. I was until recently a Parish Councillor and Trustee to a charity but have sadly given these up due to time constraints. I have also been involved in doing some TV and film work as an extra and appeared in a major Hollywood movie produced by Disney.
