Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management
James began his career working for Fidelity in 2004 following his graduation from the University of Reading. During this time he achieved the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) which is the benchmark qualification for investment professionals.
In 2007 he qualified as a private client Stockbroker and Financial Adviser with the UK arm of the largest retail stockbroking firm in the US, Edward Jones. Following the firm’s acquisition by Towry Law James continued to work at the company until joining HJP in June 2011.
Continuing with his professional development James achieved Chartered Financial Planner status by completing the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning in 2016, and is a Fellow member of the Personal Finance Society and Chartered Insurance Institute. He has also completed specialist qualifications such as the Award in Long Term Care Insurance and the Certificate in Equity Release. James is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
James lives in Horsham with his wife and two young children. When he is not enjoying family life he can be found cheering for Arsenal Football Club. He also enjoys traveling and photography.
