Robert is a Certified Financial Planner and a member of the Personal Finance Society and Chartered Insurance Institute.
Robert’s favourite part of the working day is meeting with his clients. He does not really specialise in one particular area of advice and therefore his day is always varied and interesting, as are his clients. Robert enjoys advising individuals and also groups of people and is very comfortable working in the corporate sector where he may be involved with employee benefits presentations.
Married to Belinda, Robert has grown up children, a granddaughter and a whole host of animals. He is co-chair of Hector’s House, a suicide prevention Charity. Additionally, he loves squash and horse riding.

He specifically enjoys meeting new and existing clients and watching their careers and personal lives develop, being on hand to offer advice along the way as their needs change.
Richard says that every client’s needs are different and enjoys providing solutions to their wide ranging financial requirements. “One minute I can be talking to an individual about their pensions and investments and the next to a company about protecting their business and employees. It is this vast range than makes every day both interesting and challenging."
Outside work Richard enjoys playing football, cycling, skiing and is a coach for his son’s football team.
David has been advising clients on their mortgage needs since 2008, both as an Independent Broker and for Barclays Wealth Investment Management, before joining Stringer Mann Financial Planners in 2016.
"In my view mortgages differ from other financial products since the choice and criteria across the market between providers differ greatly, making the importance of seeking good advice a real necessity.
A mortgage is not just a loan but one of the biggest financial commitments anyone can make and often linked to an emotive need such as a new home, therefore it can be stressful without the right guidance.
I love helping clients through the process and to know that my advice & service has been a real benefit to them. I feel Stringer Mann Financial Planners offer a service which is professional and personable, with the backing of a trusted brand like St. James’s Place.
Stringer Mann Financial Planners offer a comprehensive range of those mortgages that are made available to mortgage intermediaries.
